Sometimes I sit back and wonder… how did we get here?
In October of 2022, Ellie the Skelly was just a quiet idea in my heart. Late nights at my desk, pouring something onto paper that I couldn’t fully explain—just a feeling that this story mattered. That it meant something.
I didn’t know what would come of it. I didn’t know if anyone would even read it.
But I took a chance.
With your support, that little idea turned into a fully funded Kickstarter… and by October 2023, Ellie was no longer just mine—she was in your homes. In your children’s hands. Part of your bedtime routines, your traditions, your magic.
And that… that changed everything.
By 2024, I stood in Salem, Massachusetts—the heart of spookiness in America—and saw Ellie the Skelly sitting on a store shelf. Not just as a book, but as something real. Something that belonged in the world. I remember looking at her and thinking, you made it.
And somehow, in the middle of all of that… Willow’s Way found its way into the world too. Another story, another leap of faith, another moment where you showed up and believed in me. Now both of these stories sit side by side on shelves in Salem, and I still have to pinch myself when I think about it.
Because none of this was ever guaranteed.
Fast forward to today…
Ellie is growing.
She’s becoming more than just a story—she’s becoming a tradition. A memory. A piece of childhood that families come back to year after year.
We’re creating a box set so she can be held onto, displayed, and loved as a full experience. And even more incredibly… she’s getting a sequel.

This journey isn’t really about me.
I’ve worked with children my entire life. I’ve always loved helping them learn and grow—but what I’ve come to realize is that what I love most… is the magic.

There is nothing—nothing—more meaningful than watching a child connect with something you created. Seeing their eyes light up. Knowing that a character, a story, a little bit of magic… has become part of their world.
